Support You South Africa

Helping you to connect, communicate and thrive in your new context

Are you from another country and living in Cape Town?

  • Do people around you find it hard to understand what you are saying?
  • Do you find dealing with institutions such as schools and Home Affairs challenging?
  • Do you need to gain confidence to express yourself clearly in English?
  • Do you need someone to help you support your child's homework?
  • Do you need help with understanding English?
  • Do you want to make friends with the people around you?

You are not alone! Many women move here with their partners but need help to fit in. We have helped women who have recently arrived in South Africa, and those who have been here for years but still feel like outsiders. You can thrive in South Africa.

  • Would you like to meet and interact with other ladies in the same situation as you?
  • Would you like to join a conversation group to practice your English skills?
  • Do you want a place where you can enjoy learning with others?
  • Do you want a place where you can ask questions and not feel silly?
  • Would you like someone to help you work out how to live effecitvely in this new context?

Support You runs individual and group sessions to help women who move to South Africa, to connect, communicate and thrive in their new context.
